Wedding Bouquets & Boutonierres!

Since it is Wedding Season in most parts of the US, we thought we would showcase several of the bouquets and boutonnieres by Jose Graterol Designs, www.josedesigns.com .  Jose's Personal Flowers have been coveted by brides all around South Florida.  Many brides special order his bouquets because they know that his love and special touches cannot be duplicated!  Bouquets can be extremely lush and over-the-top or more simple and subdued, depending on the flower type, color, ribbon, flower texture, jewels, crystals, or style of holding them.  The two pieces above are from a special invitation photo shoot in Newport, Rhode Island.  They were intended to be featured in Grace Ormonde's Wedding Style magazine, www.weddingstylemagazine.com  They got rave reviews from the magazine as original pieces of art!  This is where Jose excels in his creativity.  Jose's university degree is in Fashion Design in Florence, Italy.  From there, he returned to Caracas, Venezuela, to design gowns for Miss Universe and Miss Venezuela's contestants!  So, when he designs the bouquets, they are truly custom designed for the bride's personality and to complement the dress without overpowering it.  Jose knows the exact blend of color, style and design to make the bride truly shine with her very own original masterpiece!  Jose shuns the thought of tossing his bouquet, but if it a desired option, Jose strongly suggests that the bride get a second bouquet to throw to her friends!
The flowers featured in these pieces are Celosia, Mini Callas, Roses, Greens.  The ribbon and jewels add special trademarks for which Jose is famous!

The two pieces here are created for the Newport photo shoot, as well.  The flowers used are Hydrangeas, Dusty Miller, Veronica, and Orchids.  Boutonnieres are showing signs of becoming original art pieces, too.  The Groom's flowers can be as special as the bride's bouquet!  The two items above here show similar silver pieces amongst the flowers!

Although it seems like a simple Mini Calla bridal bouquet, the amount of crystals used and the pattern in which they are set makes it special and breathtaking.  Jose Graterol created this pattern to echo a similar pattern in the lace of the wedding gown!
Many shades of creams and whites make up these bouquets.  Jose does not recommend a solid white bouquet.  Why, you may ask?  Because when photographing a bride with a white bouquet and a white dress, the bouquet disappears.  You need to have some contrast to make the flowers and gown pop!  Crystals, ribbon curls and a touch of gold lace make this bride's bouquet elegant, sophisticated and modern!
Jose loves using this "magic wand" type  of bride's bouquet!  It is easy to carry, elegant, sophisticated and unique!  Here the flowers are Green Cymbidium Orchids and Anthuriums.  The reception flowers were various shades of green and white and a combination of green and white.  The ribbon hangs with crystals at the points.  Pearls and crystals on the center of the bow echo the beading in the wedding gown.
Here we show the Bride's bouquet with her bridesmaids' flowers, too!  This Bride's dream was to carry ultra-fragile Cattleya Orchid as her bouquet.  With a large quantity, the bouquet looks ruffled, natural, delicate.  The contrasting Green Bridesmaids' flowers and brown ribbon mirror the colors of the reception's flowers and espresso dresses for the bridesmaids.
