Asian Influence, Red Cross Party

Here is one party for which Jose Graterol, www.josedesigns.com is very proud!  It has an Asian, Modern, Chic vibe!  The room and its decorations were specified by Billy Evers of Rafanelli Events, www.rafanellievents.com.  Jose Graterol Designs provided all the floral arrangements, as a subcontractor.  The tone-on-tone, flocked linens were created by Pablo at www.nuagedesigns.com.  Jose was inspired by a sample of the linen.  We bought the tall vases in cream color from Z Gallerie, www.zgallerie.com.  Jose decided to paint the vases black to accentuate the contrast between the flowers and the containers.
The arrangements are actually extremely streamlined, using only roses and hanging amaranthus as the flowers.  Jose painted branches in red tones to match the tablecloths.  Dried moss and moss balls were added for a unique textural complement!

Mirrors were strategically placed around the room to create the illusion of a bigger space and to add to the drama and excitement of the party!  Red Lanterns were used for lighting and to create an exotic, Asian flair, in Palm Beach!
The Bar Arrangement combines all the elements of the Table Arrangements.  Jose used the branches and roses in the arrangements to continue the applied branches on the body of the vase.  The round ball shape of the roses was inspired by the lanterns.

Hanging reticulated panels were installed into the existing skylight in the room.  The cut glass votive candle holders added to the modern classic feeling of theparty.

The party was held for the Red Cross Ambassadors in Palm Beach, the evening prior to the International Red Cross Ball, www.redcross.org.
