Chloe's First Birthday Party!

Presenting "Chloe's 1st BirthdayParty" on our Blog! The Invitation set the tone for Jose Graterol & Steve Levine to invent and imagine some amazing touches for this birthday
 party!
Gio at Square One Branding, Coral Gables, http://www.squareonebranding.com
designed the invitations!  The 1 card slipped out from the bumblebees and the reverse states the details for the party!  The card can be used as a bookmark, too!
The custom postage bumblebee stamp was ordered online from Zazzle, http://www.zazzle.com

Chloe
is a delightful girl with whom we have had the pleasure of celebrating events, even before she was born!
Chloe stands on the walkway to the Lodge in Robbins Park, Davie, FL, with pinwheels marking the path.
For her parents, Jose designed the bridal shower, then their wedding~ which was featured on "Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?", on http://www.mystyle.com
then the baby shower, the Christening, and now the First Birthday party! Alissa Garcia, Chloe's mother, and Teresita Fernandez, Chloe's grandmother, play an integral part of every event in which Jose Graterol designs!
For Chloe's birthday, the theme was Insects, a Magical Garden with lots of Butterflies, Dragonflies, Bumblebees.  It was very festive & fantasy-oriented!

For the Centerpieces, Jose Graterol Designs,  http://www.josedesigns.com
combined Roses, Cymbidium Orchids, Hydrangeas along with Bird Cages from Home Goods, http://www.homegoods.com

filled with pot-pourri.  Jose then attached bees or dragonflies to the cages.  Above each cage, he hung a butterfly mobile on the ceiling. These were purchased online at http://www.butterflycraze.com  The linens, chairs, and tables were rented from A Touch of Class Linen http://www.atouchofclasslinen.com

This was the Gift Table.  Jose spray painted the cart fuchsia.  The table was covered with moss and arrangements of hot pink and lavendar chyrsanthemums were on the table at different heights.  Jose attached butterflies and bees all around the table.  Butterfly nets served as accents on many displays! The netting draped here and elsewhere in the room was purchased at IKEA, http://www.IKEA.com
IKEA has wonderful accessories!  Jose uses his imagination on how to retool the use of items in every store!

The Adult Buffet Table arrangement carried over the theme and flowers, too!

The kid's buffet held vases with pinwheels, roses, moss, and a giant ladybug!

The natural wood cubes are from West Elm, http://www.westelm.com

The room was decorated with insect mobiles, netted storage pieces and painted nylon
butterflies, ladybugs, dragonflies & bees!  A garden fantasy!

Chloe's Lemonade Stand was outside the lodge!  It was a relief from the heat!
The Highlight in the room was the Incredible Dessert Table!

Jose designed this table around a miniature pink picnic table!
The insect individual cakes and the stunning birthday cake were baked by Neil at
http://www.heavenlycakesbyneil.com
Other pastries were baked by Fresh Market, http://www.freshmarket.com
Chloe's mom, Alissa, made the chocolate covered apples and strawberries!

This party was so "BEE-YOU-TEA-FUL!"    The photographs are
taken by Taymy Gomez-Zayas of Miami, FL.  Jose Graterol took some shots, too!
