By Invitation Only: Britto at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Miami, FL
By Invitation Only, Jose Graterol Designs was recently invited to showcase 4 Exuberant, Fantastical Tables using Romero Britto's recently released tabletop sculptures and tableware! Everyone was in awe of Jose's initiative and level of creativity!
The event was held at the gorgeous Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Miami, FL, http://www.mandarinoriental.com/miami/?cid=gl_momia The event organizer was Maricarmen Bandin of http://www.posheventcreations.net

Jose took advantage of the playfulness of the Britto Bear Sculptures to design this table. It was meant to replicate a Baby shower or a Fantastic dinner party! Floating Gerber Daisies in water are in the bottom tray, along with a massive, 17 pound Britto bear, sitting atop bright yellow cubes. Smaller Britto bears rest atop the napkins on the Bright Green Glass Charger plates, which are provided by Renee McKee at Panache http://www.linenswithpanache.com/
The table also sports a newly designed centerpiece by Jose Graterol, http://www.josedesigns.com
Jose and Steve have been very busy designing new ways to showcase Jose's true artistry in his floral masterpieces, along with progressive ideas for table centerpieces!

The linens and chairs were provided by Pascual at http://www.atouchofclasslinen.com
The 2nd table was meant to be a tribute to Art Deco, Club style! It is Lush and Luxurious!

The Slick Black Armchairs were provided by Katy & Jean Marc from Bubble Miami, http://www.bubblemiami.com/
They have amazing new pieces in their collection! Jose used monochromatic red roses and red orchids on a fuchsia table linen with various textures of flowers to create an amazing backdrop for Britto's Butterfly sculptures and Heart motif items!

Jose Graterol Designs provided the table accessories, candle holders, vases!
It was hard to decide which table was the most popular! Romero Britto spent a lot of time sitting at Jose's tables, for sure! Even industry professionals were complimenting him on his brilliant table designs!
This table was a tribute to the Tea Party or Bridal Shower!

Each plate is topped with an individual teapot-teacup-saucer, in the shape of an apple! Teabag holders are placed on the table, too. Jose designed and made, by hand, the lampshade and candle holders! Such crazy/wonderful ideas! This marks one of the true differences between Jose Graterol and other designers. Jose can actually make, with his own hands, the designs about which he dreams! Most other designers need a team of workers for them to realize their designs.

Jose's use of color is incredible! He instinctively knows how to combine colors, textures, lighting, candles, and every other element to work with/play off/create undulating patterns! In sum, by combining many different objects with varying purpose and texture, Jose creates exciting, interesting, fun, unusual, unique environments! Jose does not copy other designer's work or ideas. He truly uses his background in fashion, art, flowers, and design to invent new ideas for every event and every client!
For the Royal Table, Jose designed a new line of centerpieces to showcase his work! Let us know what you think!

Jose combined various types of orchids, succulents, moss balls in his own way to create a dramatic, light, open table setting!
